Version 1.0 · May 2025
1. About the Program
TALENTUM is a charitable initiative supporting talented powerlifting athletes. The foundation operates on a non-profit basis and provides assistance free of charge, funded by voluntary contributions from members and partners.
2. Who Can Apply
Athletes who simultaneously meet all of the following criteria are eligible:
- compete in powerlifting and have verified competition results on OpenPowerlifting.org and/or profofficial.com
- hold at least a Class I ranking or have verified international / national competition history
- are prepared to compete within 12 months of receiving support
- maintain at least one active social media profile
The foundation places no restrictions on nationality, age, or federation.
3. How Support Is Provided
The foundation does not transfer funds directly to the athlete. Payment is made exclusively to the relevant third party — equipment supplier, sports federation, competition organiser, or other service provider. This ensures targeted use of funds and full transparency.
4. Athlete Obligations
Upon receiving support, the athlete agrees to:
- use the support strictly for the declared purpose
- compete at the events stated in the application (or notify the foundation in advance of any changes)
- within 10 days after the event, submit a brief report: competition photos, final result, and a link to the updated profile on OpenPowerlifting.org and/or profofficial.com
- publish at least one post per week (Reels or feed post) on their social media mentioning the TALENTUM foundation (tag, hashtag, or direct mention) and Power Republic during the competition preparation period and after the event
5. Consequences of Non-Compliance
The foundation does not require repayment of funds. However, if an athlete fails to fulfil their obligations without a valid reason (did not compete, did not submit a report, did not respond to communication), they will be permanently excluded from all future TALENTUM support programs.
Valid reasons include: injury, illness, event cancellation by the organiser, or force majeure — provided the foundation is notified in a timely manner.
6. Application Review
- Applications are reviewed within 14 business days of receipt.
- The decision is made by the foundation team and is final. The foundation is not obliged to provide reasons for rejection.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee receiving support.
7. Personal Data
Data provided in the application is used solely for evaluating the application and contacting the athlete. The foundation does not share personal data with third parties. With the athlete's consent, their name, photo, and results may be published in TALENTUM foundation materials.
8. Changes to Terms
The foundation reserves the right to update these terms. The current version is always available on the website. Applications are subject to the terms in effect at the time of submission.
